Known worldwide as Wild Bill Flowers, Snake artist, Bill has been painting and drawing Australia's native animals for over twenty years.
For the past six years he has been working closely with the Tasmanian Devil and has gained a great insight into the animal's personality which informs his art.
"Devils are smart, beautiful, pretty and most affectionate" says Bill.
Because of the Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) and road kill, the numbers of Tasmanian Devils have declined to an alarming low. Bill hopes that by painting these fascinating animals as he sees them he will make people more aware of their charms and assist in the preservation of this unique animal.
Bill works with a variety of art mediums, such as intricate ink drawings, watercolour paintings and also large acrylic paintings.
Below is a selection of works from Bill's recent exhibition - Art With Bite.
